Boulder's City Council has established a destination location for transients & sexually violent predators!
When Boulder's City Council and County Commissioners roll out the welcome mat and turn a blind eye to criminal behavior from transients it attracts the worst of the worst into our community...and puts us all at risk. When is enough enough?
SPECIAL FLASHBACK | AUGUST, 2016:
Boulder city leaders welcome sexually violent predator who attempted to kidnap a 12-yr old child, but attempt to ban ice cream to keep kids safe. FAIL.
The Boulder City Leaders think it is more important to protect children from ice cream at the city pool than it is to protect them from a sexually violent predator. On August 23, Boulder Police Department announced a transient sexually violent predator is now living part time at 2415 Spruce Street. - to the very same pool where they banned icecream... AND VERY NEARBY Whittier Elementary School!
Rodney Jobes was welcomed to the City as a transient and registered sexually violent predator who police say has a high probability of re-offending when, according to Daily Camera reports, he decided to move here from Denver.
What the Camera didn't bother to report is that a simple search into his background reveals he appears to have also been arrested for ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING OF A 12 YEAR OLD CHILD FROM A PARK 2006 in DeKalb, Illinois. And yet, he was allowed to both live in Boulder as a transient and to move into a new apartment across from a city park, kitty-corner from the city pool and blocks from Whittier Elementary School without public notification.
THIS IS A FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP IMPACTING COMMUNITY SAFETY.
